• Bart Kemper, PE has been awarded a patent for the process, "Total Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Recovery Facility Including Power Generation Capabilities" by the Irish Goverment. It is under consideraton by several overseas firms. The patent uses existing sorting and classification technology, material handling, and novel energy production using biomass pyrolysis.

• KEG was contracted to to help an offshore diving client bring their Saturation Diving Systems up to current code for US Coast Guard certification. These systems were designed oveseas to non-US codes in the 1970's and had to be brought into current ASME Pressure Vessel for Human Occupancy (PVHO) standards. Conventional code calculations did not address the non-standard design features in PVHO or the impact loading requirements. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) was used for these issue in compliance with ASME Section VIII, Div. 2. The results were the systems were brought into current code compliance and put into operation for US operations.
